Happy Heritage! For those of you not familiar with Hilton Head’s most famous “holiday”…this is the best week of the year! The PGA tour comes to our lovely island every year after the Master’s in Augusta, GA. Best known as a “cocktail party with a foursome playing through”, Heritage is a four day event filled with sunshine, smiles and plenty of cocktails! Oh, and there’s a golf game, too, if you’re interested :)

It’s been quite a while since my last post, but the time has come! After watching to market all winter, we have definitely seen some ups, downs and really really downs…but the market seems to have stabilized in specific locations over the past few months, so that will be the focus of the coming posts. Where are the good deals?

So 19 Burkes Beach Rd is headed to the auction block next week…and 6 Deer Run pended! You’ll see quite a few properties have gone under contract since my last post.

Thought we would explore some of the properties already on the list this week: 19 Burkes Beach Rd was withdrawn and is headed to the auction block (still some great potential here as the bank is still accepting offers!!!). 6 Deer Run Lane, in Sea Pines, was reduced to $724,900 and stands to be a great buy for someone (short sale, will take any offer to the bank). As for villas, a couple of oceanfront listings on Forest Beach caught my eye. Beachwood Villas, oceanfront, for under $500k. The complex just completed an extensive renovation and is looking great!
